Matthew Kaszel joined Castle Wealth Management in 2026 as Portfolio Manager, bringing more than 17 years of financial services experience, including over 13 years managing institutional investment portfolios.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in 2009 and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in 2017. He began his career with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Bank of Montreal (BMO), gaining experience across a variety of financial disciplines before transitioning to institutional investment management.

Over the course of his investment management career, Matt progressed from analyst to associate portfolio manager and ultimately portfolio manager, managing global and U.S. equity portfolios on behalf of institutional investors. His experience includes overseeing concentrated, long-term investment strategies built on principles of value investing and growth at a reasonable price (GARP). He also launched and managed an environmentally focused global equity strategy, reflecting his commitment to thoughtful, research-driven portfolio construction.

Beyond his professional work, Matt serves as a Director of the Loyola High School Foundation and is a member of its Investment Committee. The Foundation's endowment supports the school's bursary program, helping make a Loyola education accessible to students whose families might not otherwise be able to afford tuition. Since 2016, he has also served as Lead Moderator of r/CFA, one of the largest online communities for CFA candidates and charterholders, where he supports investment professionals and aspiring charterholders from around the world. He has additionally mentored and tutored CFA candidates preparing for the Level III examination.

Matt relocated from Montreal, Canada, to South Florida with his family in 2026. He and his wife, Anthia, who have been married nine years, have two young children and are active members of St. Demetrios Church in Fort Lauderdale. Outside the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, jogging on the beach, staying active at the gym, and attending Miami Dolphins games.
